Returns

We have a 30-day return policy for our handcrafted items (jewelry & crocheted), which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. At this time, custom orders, gift cards and print on demand items are not eligible for returns--please see the additional details below.

To be eligible for a return, your handcrafted item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at whimsicalturtle01@gmail.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Natural Material Variations

Many of our artists utilize natural materials and/or dyed items as part of their skillfully handcrafted creations. Therefore, variations in texture, color, size, and finish (such as an "aged/worn" look) are to be expected and enjoyed.  Our artists may use and/or feature these natural inconsistencies to illustrate the one-of-a-kind uniqueness of the items appreciated by Whimsical Turtle Boutique. Whimsical Turtle Boutique cannot accept returns due to buyer's remorse/aesthetic irregularities.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.  We will contact you within 72 hours, once the original artist has been consulted.  If a similar replacement is available (or can be created), it will be offered.  If a similar item is unavailable or cannot be recreated, a Whimsical Turtle Boutique representative will provide exchange or refund options. 

Exceptions / non-returnable items

Custom Orders are completed based on product specifications, price and timeframe agreed upon by buyer and artist prior to purchase.  Therefore, Whimsical Turtle Boutique cannot accept returns on Custom Orders.  Please contact us if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. 

At this time, we are unable to accept returns on print on demand items as they are printed specifically for your purchase. For your convenience, print on demand clothing item descriptions include a sizing guide to help in your selection(s).

Gift cards are also non-refundable/non-returnable.

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. 

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
